WW2 French M-26 Adrian Helmet with Liner

 

-This helmet does contain dents, scratches, and wear along the chin strap and lining. Overall, this is an excellent relic from WW2 for any Militaria or helmet collection! 

 

The Adrian cap was a compelling plan of battle protective cap initially delivered for the French Army during World War I. Its unique rendition, the M15, was the principal standard protective cap of the French Army and was planned when a great many French soldiers were participated in close quarters conflict, and head wounds from the falling shrapnel produced by backhanded fire turned into an incessant reason for combat zone losses. Presented in 1915, it was the principal current steel helmet and it filled in as the essential head protector of numerous armed forces into the 1930s. At first gave to infantry warriors, in adjusted structure they were additionally given to rangers and tank groups. An ensuing variant, the M26, was utilized during World War II.
