This copper alloy injector was developed in Nazi Germany under Dr.

Wernher Von Braun in the early 1940s as a component for the 18-pot burner of the A-4 V-2 rocket engine used from 1943 - 1945 as a part of Adolph Hitler's "Wunderwaffe" Wonder Weapons Program.

The V-2 was the world's first intercontinental ballistic missel. A V-2 rocket was launched in 1944 becoming the first man made object to reach space and pass The Karman Line (our definition of where space starts). This fuel injector was one of the key components that made the V-2 such an advanced machine, distributing the correct amount of liquid alcohol for the most efficient burn.
