Carcharodontosaurus saharicus is a species of theropod dinosaur that lived in North Africa during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 100 million years ago. It was a large and fearsome predator, measuring up to 45 feet in length and weighing over 6 tons. Carcharodontosaurus saharicus was closely related to other large carnivorous dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus and Allosaurus, but it had several unique features, including its teeth.
 
One of the most distinctive features of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus was its teeth. The name "Carcharodontosaurus" means "shark-toothed lizard," and this dinosaur certainly lived up to its name.
