Starting at contact with Europeans, Native Americans would trade furs, food and other items for manufactured goods such as knives, axes, beads, cloth and buttons. While being used, the smaller items would break or get lost. These relics are some of those items and were discovered by metal detectorists on former Cherokee & Creek Village sites now private farmland in the Southern U.S.
