Maahes, the Egyptian God of war, protection and the weather as represented by the lion. This amulet was for protection and power. All Egyptian Artifacts were legally exported from Egypt prior to the 1970 Unesco Treaty, and subsequent international trade laws regarding antiquities.

A letter, specific to the artifact, fossil, meteorite, or mineral in question, from a certified authenticator (in the business under the occupation-specific to the item in question), must be brought in with the item for the return to be acceptable.
